Injuries!

Well last week was not the best of weeks. Injury wise.

First I am sitting at the table eating dinner and get a text and Andrew is in the ER. He broke I believe it was two toes.

The next day I find out that Kayla was taken to the ER because she split her lip open. She ended up gettin 5 stitches.

Then came my turn which by the way I am blaming my mom just because I can. On Thursday I completely wiped out! I was walking to go into the house and I slipped. I tried to grab onto something and thought I caught myself but it was really slippery and I totally hit the tin garbage can and went down on my left knee. I twisted my right side my neck and back. I bruised my left side of stomach and chest and my left knee. Needless to say it was probably really funny to watch. Only Jade saw it happen and after I FINALLY got up she yelled at me for running. I was not running but it gave me a painful laugh.

5K

Well I did it!!!!!!!!

I walked my first ever 5k. A 5k is 3.1 miles. I did it in 49 minutes and 53 seconds. This is 20 minutes off my time when I first did it in “training” about 4 or 5 weeks ago. I do not feel it as much as I thought I would. I thought my legs were gonna be dead but they are not!

I walked with Kim and Hannah. Brett was at first in front of me walking with a friend and then we pasted them at the half way point. All the Jonases did it too. The 3 littles did the kids ¼ mile run and then everyone else did the 5k. Colter placed in his age group. He did it in 21 mins 49 secs. He ran!!!!

Not sure the details of the 1^st mile but the 2^nd mile we were going at about 4 mph as our pace. I think the 2^nd mile we did in 16mins. At the end Kim pushed me so I would beat my time. She kept an eye on my throughout the walk to make sure I was doing okay. She kept an eye on my face redness and my breathing. My face always gets red so that’s that. My breathing was not too bad only when we turned and we were walking into the wind it was hard to breathe. My nose kept running though and that was really annoying but that is common and a really good thing. She also had me using my arms to go faster and I kept thinking I was going to hit myself in the face. She gave me visuals to where we are gonna power walk to and then slow down a little then power walk…. Towards the end it seemed the power walking times got longer haha…

The money was for a Christian School that could not get any churches in the area to support them so they have to support themselves.

I forgot to tell you the most interesting thing of my week! Sunday night or well early Monday morning I had a friend visit me. 5:10am I was sleeping and I heard a noise. I was half sleeping and was like SERIOUSLY!!! So I put on my glasses and I turned on my light. I looked over to where I was hearing it and I watched it RUN!!!! There is vent that I think it came in and out of but me seeing the vent was blocked from my view. I threw one of my shoes at what was blocking my view and made it fall down. The mouse was gone. Which yes is a good thing but I did not fall back to sleep. I also have not really been sleeping so well since it happen.... Pastor Nik gave me glue mouse traps on Sunday. So far my friend has not been back. And I am hoping that it stays that way :/

Rain

Well around here when it rains it is VERY hard to get internet! It is already bad with out the rain so with the rain it is worse. Needless to say that is really why I have not really posted. I have not been on the internet for longer then 10 mins a day. So a little bit of catching up. Okay I really can't think of what I did this week.... Let me think a little bit longer....

Monday I went to Kim's and did our normal Monday stuff.

Tuesday uhhh I guess nothing.

Wednesday oh this is something interesting I FINALLY found a church :) It is called Christian Life Baptist Church and is a garbc church. Yesterday was my 3rd Sunday there. It is VERY small. It has 21 members and about 18 people on a Sunday Morning. It takes about 40-45 mins to get there but only 24miles away. Welcome to the hills! The Pastor Nik and his wife Anna are a little younger then me and everyone else is old haha there are some children. But his preaching just reminds me of home. They are very friendly people. I have been taken out to lunch 2 outta the 3 Sundays. Wednesday was my first Wednesday night service and it was also the start of a new series so I am glad that I went! Wednesday night and Sunday School are intertwined and then they have a Sunday morning. They do not have a Sunday evening so I still go to McChurch and Live Stream Faith.

Thur- nothing I wanted to go watch the FCS play but it was raining so that didn't happen :/

Friday- I took out the 3 oldest Children to Olive Garden and they have a Gluten Free Menu!!!! That was really really really exciting. And it was really yummy. We then went to walmart and the kids went food shopping.

Sat- I finally went to the eye doctor its only been like 4 plus years since I have been there! My eyes have not changed much so that was good! Then I splurged and bought a new pair of jeans ;).

Sun- I went to church and then an older couple took me out to eat, took a Sunday afternoon nap, and went to McChurch but went a little early to catch up on internet stuff. I also had my Sunday talk with Alys.

Well that sums up my week in a nut shell. See not really all that interesting. Sorry no pictures or anything all that interesting. I will try harder this week :)
