Beach with Stephie

While Phil was in the hospital I took the kids for the weekend. I wanted everyone to be able to get to the hospital and keep the kids occupied. For a change of scenery I decided to go to the beach with Aunt Stephie. We only went in the morning so we could get to the hospital in the afternoon. We traveled down to Belmar. Had some breakfast on the way. And survived eating lunch there. No unwanted Seagulls to "bite" Aunt Stephie. We heard she has had some encounters! It was a rough time for all of us but 

we had an amazing time and I am happy that we did it!!

Park

On the Saturday that Connor and Kayla slept over I took them to the park! It had been a long time since I have been to the park and I really missed Lisa and Elianna!

Straight Hair

I was doing my hair so Kayla asked 

me to do hers too. Obviously because she is 3 I 

did not get close to her roots but it did come 

out very cute. It lasted all of 10 mins then she asked me to 

French braid it and curl the bottom!

Kayla

I went to delete some pictures off my camera and I found these 3 pictures of Kayla at the beach!

She loved being in the water! She would fight me every time I said okay Kayla time to get out and take a rest! She still talks about it. She is defiantly a beach girl like her Mommy and Aunt!!! 

Nephew and Niece

Phil has been in the hospital since Wednesday and last night Connor and Kayla slept over. They started out together on the air mattress. Kayla insisted that they sleep together on the mattress so I let them. Around 2am Kayla told me she was sweating so I uncovered her and then 5 mins later she said she was still sweating so I said come up to my bed. Mind you I was freezing cause the air was on. Anyways Kayla ended up in my bed with me and Connor ended up on Kayla's side of the bed. 

They were fake sleeping! This was before we went to bed! 

Connor knocked out in the morning! The poor kid was exhausted that he slept 12 hours straight! 

Haiti Beach!

 I finally got to a beach in Haiti and I LOVED it!!!! Mama Castor also got me some sugar cane!!!! We had youth conferences for 5 days and on the 6th day we took the youth to the beach. Which is a very big deal as they do not get to go out of the village very often! We had an amazing time!!!
